Old Chain of the Rocks Bridge, Mississippi River
Built in 1929 and part of Rt 66, the bridge is one of the longest continuous steel tress bridges in the US. It is characterized by a 22 degree bend in the middle of the river designed to help tug pilots navigate the currents. The Bridge was closed to traffic in 1968 and is now a hiking/biking trail over the River.
