Fountain of Trevi
The Fountain of Trevi, Rome
The fountain was created between 1732 and 1751 by NIcolo Salvi. It is built against the wall of the Palace of the Dukes of Poli and depicts the Kingdom of the Ocean presided over by Neptune with one wild horse and one calm one, surrounded by Tritons and shells. According to tradition, if you toss a coin in the fountain, you will return to Rome one day in the future.
